    Google Meet doesn't have built-in Timer natively that would help you stay organised or track the progress of the meeting. Our Google Meet Timer offers both a manual timer (you can type the duration manually) as well as integration with Google Calendar. When integrated, the duration of the meeting is calculated automatically, once the calendar event is matched with the Google Meet call. Yes. Magic!

    1. Go to Google Web Store
    2. Install "Meeting Timer - for Google Meet" Chrome Extension
    3. Once installed, open the extension popup and click "Sign up with Google" button to connect your Google Calendar (optional)
    4. That's it! Google Meet Timer will be displayed automatically on every call.

    You can use Google Meet Timer in two modes, depending or your needs or circumstances:

    1. Manual mode - standard mode, when Google Calendar is not connected or calendar event is not matched. In this mode, the time counts up, unless you set the duration manually. Then it counts down and shows the progress of the meeting.
    2. Automatic Mode - when you connect your Google Calendar and the calendar event is matched to the Google Meet call, the Timer works automatically. It will visually show you when the meeting starts, the progress and all critical points (halftime, overtime, start of the meeting)
