How to add a Timer to Google Meet call?

Google Meet is an awesome tool to quickly set up an online video call both for individual and commercial usage. It has plenty of features and it’s improving constantly. One of the most obvious features that is still missing though is an option to display a call timer.

There are plenty of Chrome Extensions that can display a Google Meet Timer. However, most of them start counting the time once you join the meeting. And this has a couple of downsides. Automatic Mode is when Meeting Timer is conencted to your Google Calendar and calendar event is matched. In Automatic Mode, the Timer counts down the time automatically when you enter the Google Meet call and shows the progress bar.
